Thank you for checking out Park City Baptist Church! It would be my joy to meet you at one of our Sunday worship services and get to know you over some coffee. I have been married to my wife Traci since 2004 and we have four wonderful children. I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Music Education and also earned a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Prior to coming to Park City, I served as the Minister to Children and their Families at Open Door Church in Raleigh, NC. I find great joy in ministering to my church family and our community with the goal of loving God and making him known.

There was a time in my life when I thought just being a good person and helping others was all I needed to do to get to heaven, but then something happened. I went to a meeting where pastors were preaching about what it means to follow Jesus in action, not just in words, and God grabbed hold of my heart and made it clear to me that I needed a personal relationship with Jesus. At 36 years old, I gave my heart and life then and there to Jesus and never looked back. To trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior has been the best decision I've made and I hope you come to know Him too. I love to hunt and fish and share what I have with others, but one thing I love the most is my relationship with Jesus.
